What has the reign meant to you?
This reign as Mx. Spring Clearance ‘24 has meant so much to me that words cannot even begin to express. I entered the pageant to shatter the feelings/voices of internalized homophobia, head on. That was my big “WHY?” and having overcome that obstacle and still doing so has empowered and reinforced the new narrative that I CAN DO ANYTHING. I AM LIMITLESS!
Overall, being a person of color, gay, He/him identifying… all the things that make me, me, whether Ken or Ella, I’m just glad that this opportunity has allowed me to be a mirrored reflection for those who think they can’t. I was once scared, and now I’m a QUEEN!!!
Representation was and will forever be my true prize in all of this.
Why Donate?
It’s 2025. In some way, shape or form we have all dealt with addiction. Directly or not. Personally or close friend or family member. Even from an observer we all have an inclination of what this disease does.
Donating will give the opportunity to someone who is financially unable, the opportunity to attend the annual Spring Clearance retreat happening at the end of April. A lot of the time, personally speaking, all that I was looking for was true connection and that is what Spring Clearance offers. A chance to connect, be seen, heard and loved. So please donate today.
